What information does a fabric composition label reveal about a bridal dress?

Answer

Direct answer

A composition label identifies stated fibres and their proportions; it does not by itself prove craftsmanship or overall quality.

For example, a fabric's retail name may describe a weave or appearance rather than whether it contains silk, cotton or polyester. Ask for the main fabric, lining and trim to be identified separately where relevant, and retain the seller's description. Check care instructions too. The cited US labelling guidance explains terminology, not a claim that identical labelling requirements apply to every Pakistani seller.
