These Vendor Terms ("Vendor Terms") apply to every business, and every person acting for a business, that creates a vendor account, claims a business listing, or manages a business profile on the Weddme wedding vendors directory (the "Vendor Services"). In these Vendor Terms, "Vendor", "you" and "your" mean the business and the person who uses the vendor account on its behalf. "Weddme", "we", "us" and "our" mean the operator of the Weddme Platform.
The Vendor Services are part of the Weddme Platform. Our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy also apply to your use of the Platform. If these Vendor Terms and the Terms and Conditions say different things about the Vendor Services, these Vendor Terms apply.
By creating a vendor account, claiming a listing, submitting a profile for review, or continuing to use the Vendor Services, you agree to these Vendor Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Vendor Services.
When you create a vendor account or claim a listing, you confirm that:
a) You are at least eighteen (18) years old.
b) You own the business, or you have been given clear authority by the owner to open the account, publish information, and accept these Vendor Terms on the business's behalf.
c) The business is real, operates lawfully, and holds any registration, licence or permission that its services require.
d) The information you give us about yourself and the business is true, current and complete.
We may ask for reasonable proof of ownership or authority at any time, for example by asking you to confirm a request from a contact detail already linked to the business. We may refuse, pause or reverse an account, a claim or a change of ownership if the proof is not enough or if another person shows a better right to manage the listing.
Weddme provides an online directory that helps families and couples find wedding service providers, view business information, and send inquiries to those businesses. Businesses can create a vendor account, add their business details, and submit their profile to Weddme. The Weddme team reviews each profile and publishes it if it is appropriate for the directory.
a) Weddme is not a party to any agreement, booking, quote, payment, or service arrangement between you and a customer. Any such arrangement is made directly between you and the customer, and you are responsible for it.
b) Weddme does not act as your agent, employee, partner, or representative, and does not act as an agent for customers.
c) Weddme does not take bookings or payments for vendor services. You are responsible for your own pricing, contracts, receipts, taxes, refunds, and customer service.
d) A listing on Weddme, a "claimed" label, or approval of a profile after review is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of your business or its quality.
e) The Vendor Services are currently provided free of charge. Weddme may introduce paid features or charges for vendors in future. If we do, we will tell you in advance, and no charge will apply to you unless you agree to it.
a) You must keep your sign-in details private and must not share your account with people who are not authorized to act for the business.
b) You are responsible for all activity that takes place through your vendor account.
c) Tell us promptly at info@weddme.pk if you think someone has accessed your account without permission, or if the person managing the account leaves the business.
d) A vendor account is a business account. It cannot be used to create or manage a matrimonial profile, and a matrimonial account cannot be used as a vendor account.
e) You may manage more than one business profile, such as separate branches or service lines, within the limits shown in the vendor portal. Each profile must describe a real business or branch.
"Listing Content" means everything you add to or approve for your business profile, including the business name, category, descriptions, services, packages, prices, business hours, policies, frequently asked questions, contact details, location, logo, photos and videos.
a) ACCURACY: You are responsible for making sure your Listing Content is accurate, current and not misleading. This includes prices, package contents, availability, locations, years in business, and any claims about awards, partners, or past clients. Please update your profile when something changes.
b) PRICES: Prices you publish should reflect what a customer can reasonably expect to pay. Where a price depends on the date, guest count, location or other factors, please describe it as a starting price, a range or a quote-based price. Do not publish a price you do not intend to honour in order to attract inquiries.
c) PHOTOS AND VIDEOS: You may only upload photos and videos that you own or have permission to use. If a photo or video shows a client, a guest, or any other identifiable person, you confirm that you have that person's permission to publish it for promotional purposes. Do not upload photos of other businesses' work and present it as your own.
d) CONTACT DETAILS: Contact details on your profile should be business contact details that you are happy for customers to use. Do not list another person's phone number or email address without their permission.
e) RESPONSIBILITY: You are solely responsible for your Listing Content and for any claim that it is false, misleading, or infringes another person's rights.
You keep ownership of your Listing Content. By adding it to the Platform, you give Weddme a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, format, translate, display, publish and distribute your Listing Content, in whole or in part, for the purpose of operating, improving and promoting the Platform and the vendors directory. This includes showing your Listing Content:
This licence continues while your Listing Content is on the Platform and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can remove it from all places where it appears. It also continues for any copy we must keep for legal, security, or record-keeping reasons. Content that has already been shared outside the Platform by users or by search engines may remain beyond our control.
You also allow Weddme to use your business name and logo to identify your business on the Platform and in the promotion described above.
a) The Weddme team reviews every profile before it is published. We may approve the profile, ask you to make changes, or decline to publish it. Whether a profile is appropriate for the directory is decided by Weddme. While a profile is under review, editing may be paused. We may also review a published profile, including later changes, at any time.
b) Text, photos and logos may be checked by automated moderation systems before they are saved or shown. Content that our systems or our team find unsuitable may be blocked, held back, or removed.
c) We may correct formatting, spelling, categories or obvious errors, resize or crop images, and remove content that breaks these Vendor Terms. We will not change the meaning of your Listing Content without telling you.
d) We decide which categories, cities and features the directory offers, and how profiles are displayed. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
e) Approval of a profile means only that it met our publishing rules at the time of review. It does not mean that we have checked every statement in it.
If you disagree with a moderation or review decision, you can contact us at info@weddme.pk and ask for it to be looked at again.
To help families find services, Weddme uses modern research tools to gather information that businesses have made publicly available, such as their own websites, public business listings and maps, public social media pages, and business directories. The Weddme team reviews each profile before it is published. These listings are explained in our Business Listing Policy.
a) When you claim a listing, you become responsible for checking and keeping its information correct from that point on.
b) Weddme may keep a record of where public information came from and when it was collected, so we can keep listings accurate and respond to questions about them.
c) Ratings and review counts that a listing shows from third-party services, such as Google or Trustpilot, come from those services and are shown as they were when we last checked them. You cannot change them in the vendor portal. If you believe a rating shown on your profile is out of date or belongs to a different business, please tell us and we will check it.
Customers may send inquiries to your business through the Platform. An inquiry can include the customer's name, phone number, email address, event details, and message. Customers agree to share these details with your business when they submit an inquiry. Inquiries sent while a listing is unclaimed are reviewed by the Weddme team, which may pass them on to the business using the contact details on the listing. They become available in the vendor portal once the listing is claimed.
When you receive inquiry details, you agree that you will:
a) Use them only to reply to that customer about their inquiry and, if they choose to go ahead, to provide the service they asked about.
b) Not add the customer to marketing lists, send them promotional messages, or contact them about unrelated matters unless they clearly agree.
c) Not sell, rent, publish or share the details with any other person or business, except staff or service providers who need them to handle the inquiry and who are bound to keep them confidential.
d) Keep the details secure, including any copy you download or export from the vendor portal, and delete them when you no longer need them.
e) Treat customers with respect and stop contacting a customer who asks you to stop.
f) Follow all laws that apply to how you collect, use and protect personal data.
Once inquiry details reach you, you are responsible for how you and your staff handle them. Weddme is not responsible for your use of customer data. We may suspend access to inquiries, or end your account, if we receive credible complaints that customer details have been misused.
The vendor portal may show statistics such as profile views, unique visitors, contact detail views and inquiries. These figures are estimates intended to help you understand interest in your profile. They are produced by automated systems, exclude some automated traffic, and may differ from other measurements.
Weddme does not promise any number of views, inquiries, customers or bookings, and does not promise that any inquiry is genuine or will result in business. You should use your own judgement before dealing with any customer.
The order in which profiles appear depends on factors such as the search or filters a visitor uses, the category and city, whether a listing has been claimed by its business, how complete the profile is, how long the business has operated, and how recently the profile was added or updated. We may change these factors over time to improve results for families.
Weddme does not guarantee any position in search results or on any page.
When using the Vendor Services, you must not:
a) Create a profile for a business that does not exist, that you do not have authority to manage, or that is already listed under another account, unless you are claiming it through the proper process.
b) Publish false, misleading or exaggerated information, fake discounts, or prices you do not intend to honour.
c) Post fake ratings, testimonials or awards, or ask others to post false reviews about your business or a competitor.
d) Copy another business's text, photos, videos or branding without permission.
e) Offer or promote any service that is unlawful, unsafe, or not related to weddings and events.
f) Use the Platform to contact Weddme members for marketing, collect their personal information, or approach users of the matrimonial service in any way that is not a direct reply to their inquiry.
g) Harass, threaten, mislead or pressure any customer, or ask customers to pay through any channel that presents itself as Weddme.
h) Inflate views, inquiries or other statistics through bots, scripts, repeated visits or any other artificial means.
i) Discriminate unlawfully against customers, or publish content that is hateful, sexual, abusive or offensive.
j) Try to get around a moderation decision, review decision, suspension or block, including by opening a new account.
k) Interfere with the Platform, its security, or other vendors' profiles.
To protect families, other vendors and the Platform, Weddme may take any of the following steps where we reasonably believe that these Vendor Terms or the law have been broken, that information is inaccurate, that a customer could be harmed, or that a business has closed:
a) Ask you to correct or update your profile.
b) Hide or unpublish a profile, a photo, or other content.
c) Block a profile so that it is no longer shown and cannot be edited.
d) Pause access to inquiries or to the vendor portal.
e) Close the vendor account.
Where it is practical and safe to do so, we will tell you the reason for a significant step. You can contact us at info@weddme.pk to explain your position or to ask for a decision to be reviewed. In urgent cases, such as suspected fraud, a safety concern, or a legal request, we may act first and contact you afterwards.
a) DEACTIVATING A PROFILE: You can deactivate a single business profile at any time from the vendor portal. A deactivated profile is no longer shown to the public, and you may reactivate a profile that you deactivated yourself.
b) DEACTIVATING YOUR ACCOUNT: You can deactivate your whole vendor account from the vendor portal settings. All your profiles are hidden from the public, and you can sign in and reactivate them at any time. Profiles hidden by Weddme under Section 13 stay hidden.
c) DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT: You can delete your vendor account from the vendor portal settings. When you do, all your profiles are removed from public view straight away, your sign-in access ends, and your account details are removed. Your profiles, inquiries received, and related records are kept for a limited period for security, dispute resolution and legal compliance, and are then permanently deleted as part of our regular data cleaning process. Deleting an account cannot be undone.
You can also ask us to remove your business information by contacting info@weddme.pk from an email address or phone number linked to the account or the business. We may ask you to confirm the request. Sections 6, 9, 15, 16, 17 and 19 continue to apply after your account ends.
If the business information was originally available from public sources, Weddme may continue to show a basic listing for the business as described in the Business Listing Policy, unless the business asks us to remove it.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weddme, its directors, officers, employees and service providers from any claim, demand, loss, penalty, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, that arises from:
a) Your Listing Content, including any claim that it is false or misleading or that it infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
b) Your services, your dealings with customers, and any dispute between you and a customer.
c) Your use or misuse of customer personal data.
d) Your breach of these Vendor Terms or of any law.
The Vendor Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weddme does not promise that the Vendor Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, or that they will produce any particular result for your business.
Weddme may change, pause or stop any part of the Vendor Services, including categories, cities, profile fields, statistics, and the inquiry feature. Where a change has a significant effect on vendors, we will try to give reasonable notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
a) Weddme is not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, bookings, customers, goodwill, data, or business opportunity, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, arising from or related to the Vendor Services.
b) Weddme is not liable for the acts or omissions of customers, other vendors, or third-party services, including the accuracy of third-party ratings.
c) Weddme's total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Vendor Services is limited to the greater of any amount you paid to Weddme for the Vendor Services in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or ten thousand Pakistani Rupees (PKR 10,000).
Nothing in these Vendor Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Vendor Terms from time to time, for example when we add features, change how the directory works, or when the law changes. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Where a change is significant, we will also tell you by email, in the vendor portal, or by another reasonable method before it takes effect. If you continue to use the Vendor Services after the change takes effect, the updated Vendor Terms apply. If you do not agree, you may deactivate your profiles and close your account.
These Vendor Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Before starting any formal claim, you agree to contact us at info@weddme.pk and give us thirty (30) days to try to resolve the matter in good faith. Subject to that, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Pakistan will decide any dispute arising from these Vendor Terms or the Vendor Services.
a) NOTICES: We may send notices to the email address, phone number or vendor portal linked to your account. Please keep these details up to date.
b) ASSIGNMENT: You may not transfer your account or these Vendor Terms to another person without our written consent, including when a business is sold. Please contact us so that the new owner can be set up properly. Weddme may transfer these Vendor Terms as part of a reorganization, merger or sale.
c) SEVERABILITY: If any part of these Vendor Terms cannot be enforced, the rest will remain in effect.
d) NO WAIVER: If we do not enforce a right straight away, we may still enforce it later.
e) ENTIRE AGREEMENT: These Vendor Terms, together with the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Business Listing Policy, are the full agreement between you and Weddme about the Vendor Services.
