The Weddme wedding vendors directory helps families and couples in Pakistan find wedding service providers such as marriage halls, photographers, caterers, makeup artists, decorators, and bridal and groom wear stores.
This Business Listing Policy explains where listing information comes from, what the information on a listing means, and how a business can claim, correct or remove its listing. It applies to every business shown in the directory, whether or not the business has a Weddme account. Businesses that manage their listing through a vendor account are also covered by our Vendor Terms.
A listing can be added to the directory in two ways:
a) BY THE BUSINESS: A business creates a vendor account, adds its details, and submits its profile. The Weddme team reviews the profile and publishes it if it is appropriate for the directory.
b) FROM PUBLIC INFORMATION: Weddme uses modern research tools to gather information that a business has made publicly available, so that families can find it. The Weddme team reviews each profile before it is published. Public sources include the business's own website, public business listings and maps, public social media pages, business directories, and published news or articles. We collect business information such as the business name, category, city, address, business phone number, business email, website, opening hours, published services and prices, and business photos.
Listings created from public information are written and organized by Weddme. Descriptions are written in our own words and are not copied from the business. Before a listing is published, it is checked against our quality rules, for example to confirm its category and location and to remove duplicates. Photos taken from a public source are credited to the website where they were published.
a) UNCLAIMED LISTING: An unclaimed listing has been created from public information and has not yet been confirmed by the business. Its details may be incomplete or out of date.
b) CLAIMED LISTING: A claimed listing is managed by the business through a vendor account and has been reviewed by the Weddme team before publication. The business is responsible for keeping its details correct.
A claimed label shows who manages a listing. It does not mean that Weddme has checked the business's licences, identity documents, quality of work, or every statement in its profile.
a) PRICES: Prices are shown as a guide. On an unclaimed listing they reflect prices the business published at the time we checked. On a claimed listing they are set by the business. Prices often depend on dates, guest numbers, location, taxes and other factors, and can change. Please confirm the final price and what it includes directly with the business before paying.
b) RATINGS FROM OTHER SERVICES: Some listings show a rating from a third-party service such as Google or Trustpilot, along with the review count and the month we checked it. These ratings belong to those services. They are not Weddme reviews and Weddme does not create, edit or verify them. The current rating on the third-party service may be different.
c) CONTACT DETAILS: Listings show business contact details only. To reduce spam, contact details are revealed when a visitor asks to see them.
d) PHOTOS: Photos on a claimed listing are supplied by the business. Photos on an unclaimed listing may come from the business's own public pages or from public business listings. They are shown to help families identify the business, and each one is credited to the website where it was published. They may not show the current premises, products or work.
e) OPENING HOURS, SERVICES AND AVAILABILITY: These may change without notice. Please confirm with the business before visiting or booking.
Weddme takes reasonable care in preparing listings, but we cannot promise that every detail is complete, current or accurate. Decisions to contact, visit, book or pay a business are made between the customer and the business.
Visitors can send an inquiry to a business through its listing. When a business has claimed its listing, the inquiry and the contact details the visitor chose to share are made available to that business in the vendor portal.
When a listing has not yet been claimed, the inquiry is kept securely by Weddme. The Weddme team reviews these inquiries and may pass them on to the business using the contact details shown on the listing, and the business can see them once it claims its listing. If you need a quick reply from an unclaimed business, please also contact the business directly using the details shown on the listing.
If you own or manage a business shown in the directory, you can ask us to:
a) CLAIM the listing so that you can manage it through a vendor account.
b) CORRECT information that is wrong or out of date.
c) REMOVE OR REPLACE photos or other content.
d) MARK the business as closed or moved.
e) REMOVE the listing from the directory.
To make a request, email info@weddme.pk or send a WhatsApp message to +92 323 7881611 with the business name, the link to the listing, and what you would like us to do. To protect businesses from false requests, please send it from the email address or phone number shown on the listing. If that is not possible, we may ask for other reasonable proof that you are authorized to act for the business.
We aim to reply within seven (7) working days. When a request to remove a listing comes from the business or someone authorized to act for it, we will normally remove the listing. We keep a short record of the request so that the listing is not added again from public sources. If a business later wants to return to the directory, it can create a vendor account at any time.
We may decline a request that we cannot verify, that conflicts with a request from another person who appears to have a better right to manage the business, or that would require us to show information we believe is false or misleading.
The directory is meant to show business information, not private personal information. Some small businesses trade under the name of a person or use a personal mobile number as their business number. In those cases, the information is shown only because the business has made it public as its business contact.
If a listing shows your personal name, phone number, email address or photo and you do not want it shown, please contact us at info@weddme.pk with the link to the listing. We will review the request and remove or change the information where appropriate. You can read more about how we handle personal information in our Privacy Policy.
Weddme respects the rights of photographers, designers, brands and other content owners. If you believe that a photo, text or other content in the directory uses your work or your trademark without permission, please email info@weddme.pk with:
a) Your name and contact details.
b) The link to the listing and a description of the content concerned.
c) Information that shows you own the work or are authorized to act for the owner, such as a link to where the original was first published.
d) A statement that the information in your request is true.
We will review the request and, where it is supported, remove or disable the content promptly. Where a business uploaded the content through its vendor account, we may share the request with that business so that it can respond.
If you believe that a listing is fake, belongs to a business that has closed, contains misleading information, or that a business has acted dishonestly, please report it to info@weddme.pk with the link to the listing and details of the concern. We review reports and may correct, hide or remove a listing, or take action under our Vendor Terms.
Weddme does not take part in agreements between customers and businesses and cannot settle disputes about services, deposits or refunds. We encourage customers to agree prices, deposit terms and cancellation terms in writing before paying, and to report fraud to the relevant authorities.
Directory information is provided so that families can find and contact wedding businesses for their own events. It may not be copied, scraped, collected in bulk, or reused for marketing lists, competing directories or any other commercial purpose without our written permission. Businesses listed in the directory must not be contacted with spam or unsolicited offers through information obtained from the Platform.
We may update this Business Listing Policy as the directory develops. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
