No. Weddme does not charge a pre-marriage fee or post-marriage commission. Any platform charges are shown clearly as membership or service charges.
4. How do families connect on Weddme?
After creating a profile, families can search using filters such as city, age, education, profession, religion, caste or tribe, and lifestyle preferences. When both sides are interested, they can communicate directly.
5. Can I keep my photos and contact details private?
Yes. Weddme includes privacy controls for photos, contact details, profile visibility, blocking, and communication. You decide what other families can see and when to share more information.
6. Does Weddme verify every user identity?
Weddme may use phone, email, profile, and moderation checks, but it does not guarantee a user identity, background, family details, or marriage suitability. Always verify personally before meeting or making a decision.
7. Can I delete my Weddme account?
Newly registered users can delete their account after the first 24 hours. If an account has an active free or paid subscription period, deletion may remain unavailable until that subscription period expires.
8. How should families use Weddme safely?
Review profile details carefully, verify identity and family information yourself, avoid sharing sensitive documents too early, meet in safe family settings, and report suspicious behavior to Weddme support.
9. Can I use Weddme on mobile and web?
Yes. Weddme is available through the web portal and mobile apps where available. The web portal works from a modern browser, and Android downloads are provided from the website until an official store link is configured.
