Which Pakistani cities have the largest populations according to the 2023 Census?

Pakistan’s 2023 Census lists Karachi as the largest city at about 18.87 million people, followed by Lahore at 13.00 million. Faisalabad had about 3.69 million, Rawalpindi 3.36 million and Gujranwala 2.67 million. Multan, Hyderabad, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad complete the ten largest listed cities. These are census city totals, not matrimonial-market sizes. They should not be mixed with district populations, metropolitan estimates or the number of unmarried adults in each place.
