How did age at first marriage differ across Pakistan’s provinces in PDHS 2017–18?

In PDHS 2017–18, the median age at first marriage among women aged 25–49 was 21.1 in Punjab, 20.0 in Sindh, 19.1 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 19.4 in Balochistan; Islamabad Capital Territory was higher at 22.7. Among men aged 30–49, the corresponding medians were 26.1, 26.2, 25.1, 24.8 and 27.0. These are survey medians for defined age cohorts, not the average age of weddings held in those regions during 2018.
