Can two people with different interests still be compatible for marriage?

Direct answer
Yes. Shared interests can make companionship easier, but relationship studies do not show that couples need identical hobbies or personalities. Different interests are usually manageable when each person respects the other’s time, spending and friendships and the couple still builds some shared routines. Trouble comes when an “interest” carries a deeper conflict about religion, risk, money, social boundaries or family life. Compatibility is therefore better judged by mutual respect and the practical consequences of the difference than by counting how many activities appear on both profiles.
