How important is city or location when choosing a spouse?

Direct answer
Location can become a practical marriage condition when it determines residence, work, care for parents, language, travel or immigration. Its importance is therefore personal rather than a fixed national ranking. A city field may mean “already lives there,” “willing to move,” “family is from there” or simply a search radius, and those meanings should not be merged. Pakistan’s regional differences in urbanization and internet access make location relevant to discovery, but they do not reveal how much weight any individual gives it.
