What should be included in a wedding venue quotation before it is compared with another?

Direct answer

Compare quotations only after each lists the room, hours, guest basis, food, staff, facilities, taxes and optional extras.

Ask which décor, cooling, electricity, cleaning or security costs are excluded and what triggers additional charges. Identify the particular date and room, not just the venue name. Keep verbal promises in the written quotation before paying a deposit. Two apparently similar packages can have very different final costs if one assumes a larger guaranteed guest count or omits essential services.
