What should a wedding hall contract say about access and event hours?

State when suppliers may enter, when guests may arrive, when the programme must end and when the venue must be handed back.

Include setup, sound checks, cleaning and removal of rented items rather than recording only the ceremony time. Identify shared access or a preceding booking that could delay preparation. Confirm who may approve an extension and its cost, subject to applicable restrictions. Clear access windows prevent suppliers and families from assuming the room is available all day because it is booked for one event.
