No. In Weddme’s trust-and-verification report, contact confirmation means an account had a recorded email or phone confirmation timestamp. It does not mean the represented person was government-ID verified, document-verified or background-checked. NIST digital identity guidance treats identity proofing and authentication as separate concepts, which is the safer way to read this evidence. A confirmed contact channel can support account control and reachability, but it cannot prove a person’s full offline identity or matrimonial claims.
