How have destination weddings influenced Pakistani wedding culture?
Last reviewed:
Direct answer
Destination weddings have made travel, resort imagery and multi-day guest experiences more visible in elite and social-media wedding culture, but Pakistan has no national data showing how many couples choose them. Their influence is therefore easier to see in style than prevalence: coordinated itineraries, curated photography, smaller travelling guest lists and venue-centered packages may be copied by local events. They can reduce the guest list but increase per-guest cost and travel burden. Media visibility should not be mistaken for a typical Pakistani household practice.
