Can Weddme’s family-management data represent Pakistan as a whole?
Last reviewed:
Direct answer
Weddme members were not selected through a nationally representative sampling design. The cohort reflects people who knew about the service, had internet access, registered, met eligibility rules, and remained active at the snapshot. It was also concentrated geographically and contained far more men’s than women’s profiles. The observed gender difference is therefore a platform finding. A national claim would require population-based evidence designed to represent women, men, and households across Pakistan.
