This is important because digital matrimony in Pakistan is often not an individual-only process. Platform data can show how Weddme accounts are configured and used, but it cannot fully explain every family’s offline decision-making.

In the family-participation study, Weddme analyzed profiles with manager information to understand where family support appears inside the platform. The finding should be read as platform behavior, not a claim that every Pakistani rishta is handled the same way.
