How much unpaid care work do married women perform compared with married men in Pakistan?

The published comparison is not specifically for married people. LFS 2024–25 Table 52 reports 15.3 weekly hours for female participants and 6.8 for male participants in the cleaning, cooking and clothes-care activity row. It does not measure all unpaid domestic and care work combined.

The table separately reports care for children, ill or older people and help with homework. Their participant groups can overlap, so the activity means cannot simply be added. A married-women-versus-married-men estimate needs a separate marital-status tabulation.
