How do search filters affect which matrimonial profiles people discover?

A filter does not measure compatibility; it removes every profile outside the selected field before conversation begins. Several filters interact, so individually common requirements can create a very small combined pool. Data quality also matters: missing, outdated or broad profile fields can hide suitable people or include unsuitable ones. Weddme’s research on saved age and education ranges describes search settings, not marriages or attraction. Platforms should show the effect of filters transparently and allow users to distinguish a firm boundary from a preference that can be widened.
