What are the advantages and disadvantages of family-managed matrimonial profiles?

Direct answer
Family management can help with screening, language, digital access and the workload of replying to proposals. It can also make the process feel safer for someone who wants relatives involved. The risks appear when the manager speaks as the person, hides messages, shares private information or treats profile control as authority to decide. Weddme’s own research measures who manages profiles but cannot infer consent from that field alone. Good design identifies the manager clearly, preserves the prospective spouse’s access and requires their approval at important stages.
