Wedding Vendors on Weddme: How to Find, Compare and Contact Them
Find marriage halls, photographers, caterers, makeup artists and more in one place. Learn how the Weddme vendors directory works and how to book wedding services safely.

Once a rishta is agreed, the real planning starts. Halls, food, clothes, makeup, photos, decor, cars and cards all need booking, usually in a few busy weeks. Families often end up asking relatives for numbers and calling ten places to compare prices. The Weddme wedding vendors directory brings 10,826 wedding businesses into one place, so you can compare them calmly from home.
This guide explains how the directory works, what each part of a listing means, and how to book safely.
Twelve categories, one directory
Every listing sits in one wedding category, so you can browse exactly what you need:
| Category | Listings on Weddme |
|---|---|
| Marriage halls | 700 |
| Photography and videography | 791 |
| Catering | 1,011 |
| Bridal wear | 1,017 |
| Groom wear | 1,031 |
| Makeup artists | 947 |
| Bridal jewellery | 992 |
| Decor and florists | 1,013 |
| Wedding car rentals | 980 |
| Wedding cards and invitations | 903 |
| Wedding gifts and favours | 912 |
You can also browse by city. For example, Weddme lists 1,244 wedding businesses in Lahore, 1,530 in Karachi and 726 in Islamabad.
How to search and compare
Open the vendor search and filter by business name, category and city. Sort by newest, most experienced or name, and switch between grid and list view. Open three or four listings in new tabs and compare them side by side before you call anyone.
What you see on a listing
- At a glance: category, location, number of services, starting price, days open and years in business.
- Photos: real work or premises. Photos taken from another website show a credit with the source.
- Services and packages: what the business offers and the published price or price range.
- Ratings elsewhere: Google or Trustpilot ratings with the month we last checked them. These belong to those services and are not Weddme reviews.
- Map, address and hours: so you can plan a visit.
- Where this information comes from: the public sources behind the listing, such as the business website, maps and social pages.
Claimed and unclaimed listings
A Claimed by owner badge means the business manages its own profile and the Weddme team reviewed it before it went live. An Unclaimed listing was put together by the Weddme team from information the business has published. Both are useful, but details on an unclaimed listing may be older, so confirm prices and availability directly.
Contacting a business
To reduce spam, phone numbers, WhatsApp, email and websites are shown when you tap the button to see them. You can also send an inquiry from the listing with your name, phone or email, and your event details. A claimed business gets it in its vendor portal straight away. For an unclaimed listing, the Weddme team reviews the inquiry and may pass it on, so it is also a good idea to call the business directly.
Book in the right order
Some services fill up months before others. Booking in this order saves stress in the last few weeks:
| When | What to book | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Four to six months before | Marriage hall or venue, photographer | Good halls and photographers fill wedding season first |
| Three months before | Caterer, decorator, bridal and groom outfits | Menus need tasting, and outfits need fittings |
| Two months before | Makeup artist, jewellery, wedding cards | Makeup trials and card printing take time |
| One month before | Wedding car, gifts and favours | These are easier to arrange closer to the date |
| One week before | Confirm every booking again | Check times, addresses and final payments |
How to compare three quotes fairly
Two prices only mean something when they cover the same things. When you collect quotes, write them side by side and check:
- The same date and guest count. A quote for 300 guests cannot be compared with one for 500.
- What is included. Staff, hours, setup, transport, taxes and cleaning can all be extra.
- What happens if plans change. Ask how much notice is needed to change the date or the number of guests.
- Payment terms. How much advance, when the rest is due, and how you get a receipt.
The cheapest quote is not always the best one. A slightly higher price with clear terms often costs less in the end.
Questions to ask any wedding business
Whatever you are booking, these questions work for almost every service:
- Is our date free, and how long will you hold it before we pay an advance?
- Who will handle our event on the day, and how can we reach them?
- What is not included in this price?
- Can we see photos or videos from an event like ours?
- Do you have references from families you served recently?
- What is your plan if something goes wrong on the day, such as a power cut or staff illness?
Write the answers down next to each quote. When you sit with family to decide, it is much easier to compare written notes than to remember several phone calls.
Writing an inquiry that gets a good reply
A short, clear message gets a faster and more useful answer. Include the event type, the date, the city or venue, the number of guests, your budget range and the best time to call. For example: "Barat on 14 December in Lahore, about 350 guests, budget around PKR 150,000 for photos and video. Please share your packages. Best time to call is after 6 pm."
A simple booking checklist
| Before you pay | What to ask for |
|---|---|
| Price | The final price, taxes and any extra charges, in writing |
| What is included | Hours, staff, items, delivery time and anything not included |
| Dates | Confirmation of every event date and time |
| Advance | How much, how to pay, and a receipt |
| Cancellation | What happens if either side cancels or the date moves |

Wedding planning starts with the right rishta
Most families come to Weddme first for a rishta search. If you are still at that stage, browse rishta profiles by city, education or profession. You can start close to home with rishta profiles in Lahore, Islamabad or Faisalabad, or look for a partner with a similar background, such as profiles with a master's degree.
