How should a client respond if a booked salon adds unagreed service charges?

Direct answer
Ask for an itemised explanation and compare the charge with the confirmed booking before authorising additional work or payment.
Separate a service you requested later from an item already included in the package. Keep messages, the quotation and receipts, and ask the manager to record any resolution. Do not assume a foreign consumer guide establishes the remedy available locally. Clarifying the price beforehand is best, but an unagreed wedding-day charge should still be explained rather than accepted only because the client is under time pressure.
