How can someone record the condition of a rented wedding outfit before wearing it?
Last reviewed:
Direct answer
Inspect and photograph the hired outfit with the provider before wearing it, and record every noticeable pre-existing issue.
Check the lining, hems, closures, loose beads and stains, not only the front design. Make sure the photographs identify the same garment and retain a dated acknowledgement or condition sheet. Ask for a replacement or correction if a defect affects wearability. A condition record is most useful before the event; pictures taken only after return may not establish when the problem began.
