How can embroidery placement change the flexibility of a bridal outfit?

Direct answer
Dense embroidery can reduce flexibility, especially where the outfit bends at the shoulders, elbows, waist and knees.
Inspect the finished sample from the inside and try the movements needed during the event. A motif that looks light on a photograph may have stiff backing, heavy beads or seams beneath it. Ask the maker to preserve movement at joints and explain any changes before construction. Check flexibility again at the final fitting; a loose size alone does not resolve stiffness caused by the placement of embellishment.
