In Weddme’s trust report, 5,568 of 6,258 eligible active profiles, or 88.97%, had private contact visibility. This supports the idea of staged disclosure, where discovery can happen before direct contact exchange. The finding should not be overread as personal motive, because current signup applies private contact visibility by default.
