Is it safe to share salary slips during a rishta discussion?

Direct answer
A salary slip contains more than income: it may reveal an employee number, bank details, tax data, address and deductions. Early sharing is therefore disproportionate. If both sides reach serious financial discussions, income can first be described in ranges and employment checked independently. A later document can be viewed with consent, unnecessary fields masked and a clear understanding that it will not be forwarded. A salary slip also proves only one pay period; it does not show job security, debt, dependants or actual household contribution.
