How can someone verify a business-owner claim during a rishta?

Direct answer
A business claim should be separated into legal existence, ownership, activity and income. SECP records can help confirm an incorporated company, but a matching company name does not prove that the person owns it or that it is trading profitably. With consent, incorporation documents, tax registration, a business address, invoices or bank evidence can be cross-checked using only the fields needed. Sole traders and partnerships may have different records. Verification should never require account passwords, OTPs or unrestricted access to financial systems.
