How many Pakistani women remain never married into their late twenties?

Direct answer
Census 2023 recorded 1,679,755 never-married women aged 25–29 out of 9,016,962 women in that age group, or 18.63%. The figure gives a strong national snapshot, but it does not prove that the share is rising; that requires a comparable percentage from an earlier census with the same category and age band. “Never married” also differs from divorced, widowed or separated. The statistic should not be used to label these women as delayed, unwilling or unsuccessful, because the census records status rather than reason.
