No recent nationally representative dataset reports what proportion of Pakistani Nikahnamas use deferred dower. The Pakistan DHS and census do not collect contract-level dower terms, while court cases cover disputes rather than all marriages. Local studies and samples of registered contracts can describe particular places, but they cannot establish a national percentage. The firm evidence is legal: the standard form separates prompt and deferred amounts, and the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance treats the whole amount as payable on demand when the payment mode was not specified.
