Why is digital matrimony in Pakistan better described as a hybrid journey?

The journey is hybrid because online and offline participation can alternate rather than replace one another. A person or relative may create a profile, search online, exchange an interest signal, and communicate inside the platform. Later stages can move to phone calls, family discussions, independent checks, and meetings. A proposal may also begin offline and use digital tools only for structured information. Technology adds a route into the process; it does not take over human judgment or consent.
