What information belongs in a structured matrimonial profile?

A structured profile records key information in defined fields—such as age, city, education, profession, marital history, family role, and partner preferences—rather than relying only on a free-form introduction. This makes profiles easier to search and compare consistently. The trade-off is that fixed fields can flatten complex lives into filters. Structured information can support discovery, but it cannot establish truth, personality, values, compatibility, willingness to compromise, or the context behind an answer.
