If you run a wedding business in Pakistan, families are already looking for you online. They want to see your work, your prices and how to reach you before they visit. Weddme now has a wedding vendors directory with 10,826 published listings, from marriage halls and caterers to photographers, salons and car rentals. This guide shows you how to put your own business on it, step by step, for free.

Whether you run a big studio in Lahore or work from home in a smaller city, the steps are the same. You do not need a registered company or any paperwork to start.

Before you start: what to keep ready

Signing up takes about two minutes. Building a strong profile takes a little longer, so keep these things ready:

  • Your business name exactly as customers know it.
  • A Pakistani mobile number and an email address that you check every day.
  • Five to ten good photos of your real work, in JPG, PNG or WebP format, each under 10 MB.
  • Your services and prices, even if they are only starting prices or ranges.
  • Your address and opening hours, if families can visit you.
  • Your booking and cancellation rules, written in simple words.

Step 1: Create your free vendor account

Go to the vendor signup page. Enter your name, your business name, your business category, your city, your email, your mobile number and a password. Then tick the box to confirm that you can act for the business and that you agree to the Vendor Terms.

Weddme covers all the main wedding categories, including Photography and Videography, Marriage Halls, Catering, Bridal Wear, Groom Wear, Makeup Artists, Bridal Jewellery, Decor and Florists, Wedding Car Rentals, Wedding Planners, Wedding Cards and Invitations, and Wedding Gifts and Favours. Pick the one that matches your main service.

As soon as you sign up, you land in your vendor portal with a draft profile ready to fill.

Step 2: Fill in your profile, one section at a time

The profile editor has eight short steps. You can save and come back at any time.

StepWhat you addWhy it matters
Business basicsName, category, a short description and a longer "about" sectionThis is the first thing families read on your page
Logo and photosYour logo and up to 10 photosYour first photo becomes your cover image

Your text and photos are checked automatically when you save them. Photos show on your page once they pass this check.

Step 3: Submit your profile for review

When your profile is about 90 percent complete, with at least one service and one approved photo, the Submit for review button unlocks. The Weddme team checks every profile before it goes live, to keep the directory useful and safe for families.

While your profile is under review, editing is paused. You will get an email and a notification in your portal when there is a decision. If something needs fixing, we tell you exactly what to change. Once approved, your profile goes live with a Claimed by owner badge.

Step 4: Handle inquiries and track your results

Families can send you an inquiry straight from your profile with their name, contact details and event plans. You get a notification, and every inquiry sits in your portal where you can mark it as new, contacted, won or lost.

Your dashboard also shows how many people viewed your profile, how many unique visitors you had, how many tapped to see your phone, WhatsApp, email or website, and how many inquiries turned into bookings. Use these numbers to see what is working.

Already listed? Claim your business instead

Weddme also builds listings from information businesses have published, such as their websites, map listings and directories. If you find your business already on Weddme with an Unclaimed listing label, you can take control of it:

  1. Create a free vendor account.
  2. Email info@weddme.pk, or send a WhatsApp message to +92 323 7881611, from the email or phone number shown on your listing. Include your business name and the link to your listing.
  3. Once the team confirms it, the listing moves into your account and you can edit everything.

If a detail on your listing is wrong, or you want it removed, our Business Listing Policy explains how to ask.

More than one branch?

You can manage several profiles from one account, for example one for each branch or each service line. Each profile has its own photos, prices, inquiries and statistics, and each one is reviewed separately.

Five habits of vendors who get the most inquiries

  • Complete every section. Empty sections make families wonder what is missing.
  • Show real prices. A starting price filters out people who are not a match.
  • Keep photos fresh. Add new work after every busy season.
  • Answer the same day. Speed often decides who gets the booking.
  • Write your rules clearly. Advance, cancellation and delivery terms prevent arguments later.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Using a personal number you rarely check. Families who cannot reach you move on to the next business.
  • Copying text or photos from another business. It breaks our Vendor Terms and families notice when photos do not match your work.
  • Writing "contact for price" everywhere. Even a rough starting price saves you calls from people who are not a match.
  • Leaving the profile after it goes live. Old prices and old photos lose bookings. Set a reminder to update every few months.

Where families find you

Your profile appears in your category and city pages, in vendor search, and in related vendor suggestions on other listings. Families who come to Weddme for a rishta search are the same families who will soon need a hall, a photographer and a caterer. A family browsing rishta profiles in Lahore or rishta profiles in Karachi today may be booking a venue in the same city a few months later, and many of them are young professionals, from doctors to software engineers, planning their own weddings.
