What should be asked about backup electricity for essential wedding facilities?
Last reviewed:
Direct answer
Ask which essential systems the backup supply actually supports, how quickly it becomes available and who manages a failure.
Check lighting, access equipment, ventilation or cooling, and food-storage needs rather than assuming a generator powers everything. Request confirmation from competent venue staff that installation and operation are suitable. Fuel, exhaust and electrical work should not be improvised near guests. A successful light switch test is not proof that the site can operate safely through a prolonged power interruption.
