Wedding Catering

What should a leftover-food donation plan settle before the wedding begins?

Answer

Direct answer

Arrange recipient acceptance, safe handling and collection before the wedding; do not assume every leftover dish can be donated afterwards.

Ask the caterer which food remains suitable, how it will be packaged and transported, and who controls timing and storage. Keep ingredient and allergen information with the food where needed. Follow local requirements and the recipient organisation's rules. A generous intention cannot restore food that has already been handled unsafely or make an unplanned late-night collection dependable.
