At what ages is divorce or separation most frequently recorded in Pakistani demographic data?

Direct answer
The 2023 Census recorded the largest absolute number of divorced people in the 35–39 age group, 79,079, closely followed by ages 30–34 with 78,348. Separation counts were also concentrated across early and middle adulthood, peaking at 29,148 among ages 35–39 in the national table. Counts are not age-specific risks: age groups differ in size and exposure to marriage. Percentages among women rise through much of adulthood because older groups have had more time to marry and experience dissolution.
