How have digital invitations changed Pakistani wedding practices?

Answer

Direct answer

Digital invitations make updates, maps, RSVP links and overseas sharing quicker and cheaper, while also changing the invitation from a physical family object into content that can be forwarded widely. A Pakistani study analyzed 120 online wedding cards used during the 2020 pandemic and found that cultural and religious invitation conventions remained visible in the digital format. That sample documents design and language, not national adoption. Digital cards can reduce printing, but guest privacy and accidental redistribution still need attention.
